Birmingham based Aston University goes toe to toe with one of the world’s biggest higher education establishments; Russell Group with a message designed to appeal to the success-hungry would be students.
Aston University is a sprawling campus on the periphery of Birmingham city.
Following internal research they figured out that 2% of British millionaires graduated from the university. They then found out that this figure was actually higher then those who’d attended a Russell Group university.
Our plan was pretty radical. We stepped away from the traditional style of Aston’s creative and instead went for something far more hard-hitting and noticeable.
Using Frank Miller and his film noir; Sin City as parody we put real students in the spotlight with the headline “Beat The Elite”.
